Yes, l!verse-Jon did this to himself, but damned if he isn't the epitome of pitiful in the first panel, just munching on his toast in that miserable and lonely fashion. It makes me wonder what c!Stephen is doing, all alone, betrayed, and I can only hope that it's not something stupid (as in something that would hurt himself in the long-run, not that he'd go on a shooting rampage. That actually makes me feel a bit better about him for now, but still.) I'm liking the suspense and looking forward to seeing our dear c!Stephen soon.
Also, c!Stephen's Jon in the sixth panel and how he looks so stricken, when he finds out that his Stephen has figured it out and went off the deep end. For me, it's a great, "What did you think was going to happen, if this ocurred/but guess you didn't think at all" moment.
An honorable mention is how in the next panel Jon has the expression/body position like Mighty Mouse and "Here I come to save the daaay!" until l!Stephen drops that bombshell of truth and both Jons cringe. I really do like the visuals is all.
I could go on for much longer talking about how much I enjoyed watching l!Stephen, but I won't. He just looks so chill in the first panel, arms behind his back, leaning against the wall, looking off while the other Jon goes about his business. And when he does hear what happened with c!Stephen and the gun, I'm not sure if I'm interpreting his dialogue right, but the whole, tiny, "You can do that?" is perfect. It makes me feel like the Stephens are learning something from one another, something important in some roundabout way, not that it's healthy to pull out a gun and tell someone to get out or you shoot, but hey, saying, "I'm angry at you" in so many words and kicking someone out who deserves it isn't half bad.
L!Stephen is just so calm and composed, until his Jon begins to get to the heart of the matter, to apologize, and then we get that big smile, and (headdes) he's doing his Stephen thing again, poor thing, and mentioning, though it's in his own twisted way, the exact offense that was committed. Last panel is love, the Jons beginning to realize how badly they've screwed up and l!Stephen's smile is gone; it's like he's gone back to listening or observing again. And I may be reading too much into all of this, but it's a lot of fun.
In conclusion, after the addition of this installment of the comic, l!Stephen oficially has the best wardrobe ever. And there's a surprise that there are a bunch of different universes with Jon; I didn't see that one coming. At first I thought the bartender was another dimension-jumper, but apparently he's another Jon, and that's just fun.
The one question I have, though, after all this jabber (and this is probably my last comment like this, so no worries,) is about l!verse Jon's pants. They're black with a little gray squiggly line, and are those leather or just a fabric design? Because now I'm pondering all the things a Jon could be doing with spare leather pants. Yeah, I'm so done. -_-;

Meanwhile, his Jon is so used to being in "protector" mode that he's not adjusting very well to being the one c!Stephen needs protecting from.

YES. Thisthisthisthisthis. Hasn't gotten very far yet, but the first l!Stephen hears about c!Stephen's reaction, that's also when he gets his first glimmer of "Wait...I could do this differently, I could even be aggressive, and the world wouldn't end..."
But for the most part l!Stephen is still in total doormat mode. Alas.
And, ohhhh yes, there are a ton of 'verses with Jons and Stephens. Some of them will even show up in comics, once this storyline is over =D
The pants are supposed to be like tuxedo pants - you know, with the ribbon on the side? Fancy dress. Comes with the bartending uniform.
